Ridge Road Closure – Thursday August 20

Ridge Road will be closed for one full day on Thursday, August 20 (weather permitting) for utility work just south of Oakland Park Boulevard. Work will begin in the morning and continue through the end of the day. Ridge will reopen once the work is complete.

Closure Locations

AUGUST 20 UPDATE – the location of the work has moved, and Ridge will now be completely closed at the Oakland Park intersection.

Two additional points on Ridge will have barricades, but local access maintained:

• Just north of Norwich Road (to provide access to Ridge Road driveways between Norwich and Elm Park)
• Just north of Cambridge Boulevard – southbound Ridge will remain open

Advance warning signs will also be posted at Millington Road and Poplar Park Boulevard at Woodward to try to minimize cut-through traffic before it gets to the closure.

Will I be able to get to my house?

Yes, all residents will retain access to their driveways.

The police will be monitoring the situation and will provide traffic control as necessary.
