New Voter Identification Cards

Due to recent State of Michigan Senate and House resdistricting changes, all Pleasant Ridge voters will receive new Voter ID cards reflecting the new State Senate and State Rep. district boundaries. These redistricting changes will take place in 2026. Our State Senate district is changing from 08 to 10, and our House district is changing from 007 to 008. The lines that are changing on the new Voter ID cards are shown in the red box on the sample ID card image at the bottom of this post.

New cards will be mailed to the address currently on file for each voter. Please review your card carefully.

• IF you receive a card that is not addressed to you, please write “not at this address” on the card and either return it to the US Postal Service or leave it in the drop box at City Hall.
