Curbside Leaf Pickup

November 11 Weather Update: Leaf pickup is suspended temporarily. We intend to resume leaf pickup once the weather is more amenable.

The City uses a zone system for leaf pickup. There are 5 zones, and leaves will be collected from each zone at least 3 times. Certain zones are scheduled for pickup each week during leaf collection season. If all leaves are picked up from the scheduled zones before the end of the week, our contractor may move on to pick up leaves from other zones in the City. Don’t worry that you will miss a leaf pickup if that happens – the contractors will be back the next week to pick up the scheduled zones.

This notice will be updated during leaf pickup season because it is very likely that fall weather will intervene and require adjustments to the schedule at some point during the season.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: You may only place leaves at the curb. No other materials may be mixed in with the leaves. Vines, old potted plants, flowers, brush, sticks, tree branches, and the like will damage the leaf pickup equipment and will impact our ability to efficiently pick up leaves. Do not put anything other than leaves out at the curb for pickup. These other items may be placed in compost bags for pickup on Monday morning.
