Ballot and Voting Information – November 2026 General Election

Absentee ballots will be available beginning Thursday, September 24

If you are on the permanent ballot list or have already requested an absentee ballot and you prefer to receive your ballot in person instead of through the mail, you can pick up your ballot in person at City Hall between Thursday, September 24 and Wednesday, September 30. You will need to have photo ID to receive your ballot.

Ballots that are not picked up in person will be mailed on October 1.

Ballots may be picked up during regular business hours, Monday-Thursday, 8am – 4:30pm.

There will be extended hours on Thursday, September 24, 8am-8pm.

Request an Absentee Ballot or Check the Status of Your Ballot

You may request an absentee ballot online through the Michigan Secretary of State: Request an Absentee Ballot

You may also request a ballot by mail, or in person at City Hall with photo ID.

Returning Your Absentee Ballot

Completed absentee ballots may be:

• Returned to City Hall
• Deposited in the City of Pleasant Ridge City Hall absentee ballot drop box located outside City Hall.
• Mailed via USPS in the postage pre-paid envelope

Please use only the City of Pleasant Ridge City Hall drop box when returning your absentee ballot. Do not place your ballot in any other drop box, as it may not be received by the City Clerk.

You may also choose to tabulate your absentee ballot in person during Early Voting or on Election Day.

Early Voting

Early Voting will be available at the Oak Park Community Center, located at 14300 Oak Park Blvd. The early voting site hours are:

Saturday, October 24, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Sunday, October 25, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Monday, October 26, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday, October 27, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday, October 28, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Thursday, October 29 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Friday, October 30, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Saturday, October 31, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Sunday, November 1, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026, the polls at 4 Ridge Road are open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

All absentee ballots must be received by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day to be counted.
