About the Arts Council
The Pleasant Ridge Arts Council is dedicated to enriching the culture of Pleasant Ridge by providing civic, educational and creative experiences. The Arts Council is working to:
– Promote community involvement in the arts
– Foster art appreciation and education
– Build excellence in place, expand the public realm, and add value to the community
– Create a canvas for local and regional artists
– Enhance Pleasant Ridge as a place to live artfully
Public Art Framework Plan
Adopted in April, 2025, the Public Art Framework Plan is the Arts Council’s guide to implementing public art in Pleasant Ridge. The Arts Council is now working to implement the plan.

Super Fun Art Party
The Arts Council hosted events in 2024 and 2025 to connect Pleasant Ridge’s creative community. Artists and creatives have presented samples of their work at these events to foster connection, discovery, and inspiration. The slide decks from the events are linked below.
